How the hours work

You buy a block. We log time against it in 15-minute increments and send you a running balance with every piece of work, so you always know what is left without having to ask.

The 15-minute rule cuts both ways. A five-minute password reset draws down 15 minutes, not a padded hour. Most providers round to the hour because it is better for them — we do not, because the whole point of prepaid hours is that you can see where they went.

Hours are valid for 12 months from purchase. We will tell you when you are running low and when a block is about to lapse, rather than letting it quietly expire.

What can support hours be used for?

Any billable technical work:

Covered by your hoursBilled separately
Troubleshooting anything brokenHardware and devices
New machine setup and data migrationSoftware licences
Network changes, Wi-Fi, firewall rulesThird-party subscriptions
Microsoft 365 administration and cleanupCloud hosting costs
Email, DNS and deliverability problems
Security cleanup after an incident
Vendor coordination and chasing
Straight advice on what to buy or avoid

Pass-through items are billed at cost with the invoice attached. We do not mark up hardware.

Should I buy hours or a managed plan?

They solve different problems, and plenty of businesses run both.

Support blocks are reactive. You buy hours and spend them when something needs doing — a migration, a broken mail flow, a new hire's laptop. Nothing runs in the background.

Endpoint Protection is proactive. Monitoring, patching and threat detection run continuously at $32 per device per month, whether or not anything breaks. That is not something you can buy by the hour, because the value is in it never stopping.

If you have five or more machines with company data on them, the managed plan is the one that matters and the hours are for everything else. If you have three laptops and occasional problems, buy hours and skip the plan.

Common questions

Do unused hours roll over?

No — a block is valid for 12 months from purchase. We flag it well before it lapses so you can use the balance rather than lose it, and if you buy another block while the first is still live, the remaining hours carry into it.

How quickly do you respond?

Within four business hours, and same day for anything that has stopped people working. The 50-hour block gets priority. We are in Pembroke Pines, so support runs on Eastern time by someone in your time zone.

Is on-site work included, or does it cost more?

Included at the same rate anywhere in Broward County — travel time is not billed. Outside Broward, we will agree travel with you before booking.

Can more than one person from my business open requests?

Yes. Name as many people as you like. The balance is against the business, not an individual.

What if I run out mid-project?

We tell you before you hit zero, not after. Nothing gets abandoned halfway — you either top up or we agree where to stop.

Can I get a refund on unused hours?

Unused hours are not refundable, which is what makes the discounted rate possible. If circumstances change substantially, talk to us — we would rather find a sensible answer than hold you to the letter of it.

Not sure which block you need?

Tell us roughly what your setup looks like and what keeps going wrong. We will tell you which block fits — including if the answer is that you do not need one yet.
